Won a gold medal for 200-meter freestyle at Pan American Games (1995); won a gold medal for 800-meter freestyle relay at Atlanta Olympics (1996); won a bronze medal for 200-meter indiv. medley at Sydney Olympics (2000); won a gold medal for 800-meter freestyle relay at World championships (2001). Awarded Honda-Broderick Cup (2000).
