Was the chauffeur, and claimed to be the wartime mistress, of Dwight Eisenhower in her book, Past Forgetting: My Love Affair with Dwight D. Eisenhower (1976), though she admitted that the affair did not go beyond kissing; also wrote Ike Was My Boss (1948).
