Won 10 World, 11 European titles (1969–78, 1980), and 3 Olympic gold medals: with Alexei Ulanov, won 4 World championship titles (1969–72) and a gold medal at Sapporo Olympics (1972); with Alexsandr Zaitsev, won 6 World championships (1973–78) and Olympic gold medals at Innsbruck (1976) and Lake Placid (1980).
