Pisonia
Pisonia (family Nyctaginaceae) A genus of small trees and shrubs in which the leaves are usually opposite and the flowers usually unisexual, and small. The seeds are sticky, clinging to bird feathers and thus dispersed; they are used as birdlime. There are 35 species, occurring in the tropics and subtropics, especially in America.
