Koenigsberg, Moses
KOENIGSBERG, MOSES
KOENIGSBERG, MOSES (1878–1945), U.S. editor and publisher. He organized the King Features syndicate as well as other news and feature services. Koenigsberg was born in New Orleans and at the age of thirteen he became a reporter for the San Antonio (Texas) Times. By 1903, he was managing editor of the Chicago American and in 1908 publisher of the Boston American. He formed King Features in 1916 and was also president of the International News Service and Universal Service. His books include Southern Martyrs (1898), The Elk and the Elephant (1899), and an autobiography, King News (1941).
