Liu-Tsu-Ta-Shih Fa-Pao-Tʾan-Ching/Tʾan-ching
Liu-Tsu-Ta-Shih Fa-Pao-Tʾan-Ching/Tʾan-ching (Jap., Rokuso daishi hōbōdan-gyo, Dan-gyo). The Sūtra of the Sixth Patriarch from the High Seat of the Dharma Treasure, usually known as the Platform Sūtra, a key Zen work in which the biography and sayings of Hui-neng are collected. However, it exists in longer and shorter forms, and may have been developed (as tradition affirms) from a lecture given by Huineng and recorded by Fa-hai.
