Vizianagaram
Vizianagaram (vĬzyŭ´nəgrəm), city (1991 pop. 177,022), Andhra Pradesh state, E India, near the Bay of Bengal. It is a rail junction and a market for jute and jute products. There are jute-processing and leather-tanning industries. On the city's outskirts is the largest ferro-manganese plant in India.
