Description: Independent, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1853. Setting: 3-acre suburban campus with easy access to Chicago and Milwaukee. Total enrollment: 138. Community Environment: Waukegan (population 70,000) is the county seat of Lake County on Lake Michigan. Excellent public transportation is available to Chicago. Students enjoy all the usual services of a small city, including a nearby state park.
