Independent, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1863. Setting: 392-acre suburban campus with easy access to Boston and Providence. Collegiate Environment:

Most popular organizations: Bryant Outdoor Activities Club, Student Programming Board, Rhythm and Pride Dance Team, radio station, Bryant Players (drama club). Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices and patrols, late night transport-escort service, controlled dormitory access, bicycle patrols, video cameras, lighted pathways/sidewalks, monitored one point of access/egress. 2,484 college housing spaces available; 2,371 were occupied in 2003-04. The college is located in the midst of the social, cultural, and recreational center that is southern New England.
