Stückgold, Jacques, Polish singing teacher; b. Warsaw, Jan. 29, 1877; d. N.Y., May 4, 1953. He studied in Venice; taught voice in Germany (1899-1903), where Grete Stückgold (née Schneidt) became his pupil and wife (divorced, 1928); settled in N.Y. in 1933. He publ.
