House of Wax 1953
House of Wax ★★★ 1953 (PG)
A deranged sculptor (Price, who else?) builds a sinister wax museum which showcases creations that were once alive. A remake of the early horror flick “Mystery of the Wax Museum,” and one of the ‘50s most popular 3D films. This one still has the power to give the viewer the creeps, thanks to another chilling performance by Price. Look for a very young Charles Bronson, as well as Carolyn “Morticia Addams” Jones as a victim. 88m/C VHS, DVD . Vincent Price, Frank Lovejoy, Carolyn Jones, Phyllis Kirk, Paul Cavanagh, Charles Bronson, Paul Picerni, Angela (Clark) Clarke; D: Andre de Toth; W: Crane Wilbur; C: Bert Glennon; M: David Buttolph.
