Born on April 4, 1777, in Florence; died on November 15, 1801, in Naples; daughter of Leopold II (1747–1792), count of Tuscany, ruler of Florence (r. 1765–1790), Holy Roman emperor (r. 1790–1792), and Maria Louisa of Spain (1745–1792); married Francis I, later king of the Two Sicilies (r. 1825–1830); children: Caroline of Naples (1798–1870, who married the duke of Berri); Ferdinand (b. 1800). Francis I's second wife was Marie Isabella of Spain (1789–1848).
