Blitheman, John
Blitheman, John, English organist and composer; b. c. 1525; d. London, May 23, 1591. He was from 1558 a Gentleman of the Chapel Royal, and also held an annuity from Christ Church, Oxford. John Bull is said to have been one of his pupils. He composed liturgical organ music and several vocal pieces. See D.
